I had the same issue, I ended up buying an aftermarket fin type antenna from Amazon (image attached), removed the interior electronics, drilled a hole for the camera and mounted the camera in the housing.  Then mounted the fin on top of the cap and used the cable listed below (Amazon).  It took a couple of tries get the angle right (used silicone to glue the camera into the housing) but it works well for me, less than $50 including painting it to match my truck and a few hours DIY time.

My dad has my truck for the next couple of weeks, I will post a picture when he gets back.

I would love to see your install if you can post some pics.  Did you use the original camera or leave factory in place and buy an aftermarket?  If you used factory, did you need to seal up any holes or gaps once the factory camera was removed?  Also curious as to how easy or hard it is to located the cable in the cab headliner.  Again, thanks for the info and sharing your solution.

We have a simple solution that just about anyone with basic mechanical skills can install.  It comes with a factory GM camera, extension cable, and a small fully adjustable bracket assembly that allows you to attach the camera onto the third brake light of your topper. Check it out here:

We have a universal style kit that can be mounted on any flat surface, i.e. doesn't require a third brake light for mounting.  This model will be great for people with drop in campers etc.  https://www.camerasource.com/factory-digital-mirror-camera-universal-relocation-kit-for-2019-23-gm-trucks-camera-included?q=cs-3gm

Camera source, do you have a toggle for this to keep the original camera and an add on? I want to be able to remove the topper and revert back to stock without having to drop the headliner.
