backup camera issue, 2018, 3500hd

I just purchased the correct backup camera for my 2018 3500hd. It didnt originally come with the camera.  When I originally plugged it in, It worked. While installing it, I accidently ran a screw through the wire. Obviously, it stopped working. I repaired the wire, still didn't work. I have since replaced the camera and it still doesn't work. When I place it in reverse, the screen just shows the camera with a cross hatch through it. Is there a fuse somewhere \? I am stumped
