3.0 and larger tire

I’ve searched and haven’t found much on this.  I have the  at4 with 275/65/18 duratracs.  Debating moving up to 275/70/18 (LR E). Wondering how the 3.0 diesel will handle the increased weight and diameter.   Previously owned a landcruiser and the larger diameter tire /weight made a noticeable difference in shifting and acceleration/braking.

I have 35's on mine, I honestly dont notice a difference. 

 

My fuel economy went a bit down, but that was all....

From the Factory my 2021 3.0  4x4 RST Crew cab has 275/60/20. runs great

I have 35's as well.  I did put the Rough Country Speedometer calibrator on there.  It makes the shift points back to normal and you know the true speed.
