2021 Silverado RST Infotainment Interface Lag

Hello,

 

I've got a 4 month old 2021 Silverado RST 4x4 Crew Cab and am wondering if anyone else has a laggy infotainment interface, particularly with swiping from screen to screen. I feel like whenever I see videos they seem to run nice and smooth. I have the 7" variant. 

Example:  (my vehicle)

This video shows someone with an 8" screen system (i think) that has a user experience vastly different from mine. 

I have checked for updates and there are none. I have also tried a variety of operating conditions such as Wi-Fi off, no Bluetooth, no android audio connection, etc.  No matter what, the GM infortainment system lags and it makes using it a pain sometimes. 

I feel like if I go to the dealer about this, they'll look at me like I'm crazy or say "what's the big deal, it works, doesn't it?"
