2000 GMC Sierra sle 5.3 4x4 service 4wd

Hello, 

so I read a few forums, tried changing the 4wd switch, tccm, and the transfer case encoder motor to get the service 4wd light to go off, none of that worked, any other suggestions before paying a million dollars at the dealer? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

hi, yeah so it popped the code that says class II communication error. Don’t remember the exact code on it.
