Swapping steering wheels

Goriiillla

Question

I have a 2005 gmc sierra. I'm doing a steering wheel swap with one with no controls to one with controls. I got the steering wheel from a salvage yard but I bought a new clockspring. I installed the new clock spring and it has two extra harnesses, lime green one and an 8 wire one I think. I just zip tied those but everything else is connected. I tried turning on my truck and nothing, the one click forward didn't even turn on my cluster or anything. Am I missing something? Can a oem steering wheel off another truck be an issue??

You must have popped a fuse or your battery died would be my first thought

No, I even put my old clockspring back on and it turned on. The old one just gives me a service air bag on my odometer so I'm assuming it's bad. I bought that one from a junk yard. But once I installed the new one, nothing. I bought this one
