Lowering rear of '03 Z71 Tahoe

I have a '03 Z71 Tahoe that I put 22's on last week. The Z71's seem to have a lot of "rake" compared to the LT and LS models. I believe they are higher all around but especially in the back. I was wondering if anyone knew how I could drop the rear about 1-2 inches to level the truck out a little bit. I was thinking about going to the LT/LS rear coil but I'm not sure if that is the only way or even the best way. Any suggestions welcomed. Thanks!

Hmmm... No idea. Can't help you at all. But, I'd be interested to hear what the answer is!

Now, are there any issues with the 4WD on these Z71's that would make lowering the rear a problem? Me, I raised the front of my Tahoe to level out the truck -- but it sounds like you're after more of a "street truck" appearance...

Have any pics of the the truck, as is, with the 22"s?

Why would you buy a 4wd, Z71 and then lower it? Just sounds conterproductive to me but I guess to each his own. Me, I put a 3" body lift on mine and then raised the front to match the rear. If you change your mind and want to raise the front, I can help.

Don't they have a 2" block in the rear?

Tahoes don't have leaf springs in the rear, therefore no blocks.

I thkn your only options here is to change the springs.
