AFM Disabler

I have a 2015 Sierra 1500. My question is. Do all of these trucks have the AFM system. My truck is a base model, as stripped as can be, a work truck. I've not seen any indications that it has AFM.

Yes, all of the engines available for that truck have AFM.

 

The 4.3, 5.3 and 6.2 all came with AFM. The base model clusters likely do not show if AFM is active. The LT trims and above that come with a full color cluster let you see if the truck is in V4 mode.

 

If you AFM is not working at all, then it was either disabled prior to your ownership if you bought it used or there is a check engine light keeping it off.
