2016 silverado sub install

Recommended Posts

i was wondering if anyone ran into the same problem as me. i've installed multiple subs and amps in my vehicles before but for some reason i'm stumped on this one. i have a 2016 silverado 2500 (with a bose system and amp). im trying to add 2 12s im trying to find out how i could do it by jumping signal from the existed factory amp or to by a lc2i to maintain the signal. if anyone knows any tips or ideas let me know it'll be much appreciated.

Should visit this forum section more often.... you probably already figured it out, but just in case, buy these 2 so you can add a amp without splicing. Got this my truck and works great. All you'll have to do it use the T harness that comes with the GM61 behind the head unit, run your RCA(front/rear/sub) to the where ever you're mounting the amp and then use the GM02 to T into the BOSE amp harness, you will only use on of them.

This is the T harness installed and running to my amp.
