Should I install second battery in my '20 Silverado 2500HD?

My truck has a second battery tray.  Not sure what advantage a second battery offers unless its wired to accessories separately?  Does my truck come with wiring for it or is just a tray and nothing else. Does the forum have a favorite kit to wire it?  Thanks!

Should you? From what you wrote, I can't see a case for doing so. However, KIT This is what I would use rather than try to recreate a factory harness in case you do want to add another battery.
