I joined the replace the starter club… This was my 2018 Silvy last week. Put in a new battery back in August and that seemed to correct my starting issue… at least for a while. We were 70 miles from home and she decided it was time. Had Auto-Owner’s tow service, so they sent out a small Ford van like vehicle with a jump pack about the size of my cell phone. Waited over an hour and 20 minutes, and when it wouldn’t start, he said we can get you a tow but it will be a while… I called a local shop as I wasn’t going to wait another hour and some.

Now how long before I have to face the dreaded torque converter plague???

I'm curious, how many miles on it when you replaced the starter?

Have you replaced the transmission fluid? Or removed the transmission thermostat bypass? What temperature has your transmission temp usually show?

My 18 is at 107K and I had the trans flushed at 105K, did the pill flip but as the cold weather moved in I updated the bypass module in October. I still want to drop the pan & change out the filter but local dealer talked me out of it. May be a do it myself job in the spring as when I do I will be adding a drain plug
