Razr20 Posted February 15, 2023 Posted February 15, 2023 Hey everyone. Can someone point me in the direction of where I can find the post about doing the 4 piston, 13.5in front brake upgrade for my 18 Sierra 1500? I know its on here somewhere but I can't seem to find it. Basically needing the parts numbers and/or vehicles these parts came off of. Thanks guys/gals

Thanks guys/gals The calipers and rotors are off the 1/2 ton T1 model trucks Front Passenger Side Disc Brake Caliper without Pads and Bracket - GM (13545383) Front Driver Side Disc Brake Caliper without Pads and Bracket - GM (13545382) You need 2 of these. Front Brake Caliper Guide Pin - GM (13539444) Front Disc Brake Rotor (Coated) - GM (13542112) You can also change the rear calipers to 4 piston from rear of the basic stingray corvette. Uses your existing rotor. Also requires an adapter Edited February 16, 2023 by Homewrecker007

The front calipers will need a 4mm spacer between calipers and the spindle mounts to center it over the rotors. If you do the rear you can get brake calipers from a gen 6 SS camaro those will require brackets to bolt up. I've done front and rear on my 2014 sierra and have about 10,000 miles on the new brake setup. Edited November 25, 2024 by Homewrecker007

Buckwild27 Posted November 25, 2024 Posted November 25, 2024 Also i you're going to need a new spare tire wheel. I went with the 2023 police tahoe 20x9 Steel Wheel. 1
Buckwild27 Posted November 25, 2024 Posted November 25, 2024 Here's the rear caliper adapters needed for the swap.
BackRoadZ1 Posted March 24 Posted March 24 For anyone wondering if factory 18in wheels fit with 4 piston calipers. Yes they do fit but only with a 1/4 wheel spacer.
