Is anyone able to verify if the connection to the BCM for the Illuminated Door Sills has changed from the 2022 GMC Sierra Denali Black X1 connector Pin 1 location on a 2023 GMC Sierra Denali?  With all the chip issues it wouldn't surprise me of changes from year over year.

Thank you.

Looking for this information too. I believe this would solve one of my questions with trying to tap into the dome light for floor LEDs. Not the slow fading action, just to function like the dome lights where pushing the buttons on top that normally control the dome, would control my LEDs too. I read another feed that mentioned the X1 pin 1 on the black plug. They also dropped a PDF for a 22 Denali since there were slight changes from the 21. (Attached. Picture quality is a little rough.) Of course having a 23 elevation refresh makes me a little nervous to poke around and be wrong. Hoping someone else did that nerve racking task for me. 😬

I couldn't wait.  So I have my sills connected to the BCM X1 connector Pin 1 and that appears to still be correct from the 2022 install instructions. Turns on when it is supposed to, doesn't come on with Dome lights disabled.  There is a very quick fade in, but not as slow as the dome lights.

Controller closest to wheel wheel, and the Black connector closest to the front of the vehicle.

Hope this helps.  Just wish I knew what the current limit was, as I want to add some footwell LEDs as well.

That's a very good point about the current. I have 4 and each pulls .07amps. I think I can get away with it.

If I were in your spot, I'm thinking a relay might be a play. My limited knowledge would think the 86 post would be the trigger for the leds. Should alleviate the issue? I imagine you would tap into your harness connected to the pin?

The controller closest to the wheel well (looking from the steering wheel) is the top/closest to steering) one of the two?

Wow that last sentence was bad. I attached what I see from the foot well.

From your statement, it looks like it would be the row pictured on the left? There's a black one on the far right.
