94 K1500 with 454 swap, Holley sniper EFI and hyperspark distributor, original 4l60e rebuilt 200 miles ago, truck runs but not shifting in drive, stays in 3rd gear. Plugged obd 1 in and it says park/neutral when shifting. Speedometer works so getting speed sensor data. Checked power and ground but can't understand how the trans gets rpm data. The sniper doesn't have a trans adapter but trying to figure out a way for the trans to see rpm and shift correctly.

  Trying to install a jump seat instead of center console, but have to remove the Bose sub. Any ideas on where to relocate that sub or replacement options for under seat with harness? Haven’t messed much with audio before.

  ...was looking to see what the 3 post OP had to say since they've got a personal issue here and 3 different threads they made within the same time period...just today....and then regurgitating that some owners on facebook and other forums have issues which is a small number out of total ownership of 3.0 Duramaxes.

  Just a guess based on the mentions I've seen on this forum... Failing coolant control valves (LM2, LZ0) No start / long crank issues (LM2) Thrust bearing failures (LZ0) Timing chain failures (LM2) Fingers crossed GM has more revisions and updates in the work because the 3.0 is awesome (when it can be trusted).
