2024 Highcountry with Vader Chrome

Does anyone have an explanation as to why GM is marketing a white Highcountry with Vader Chrome and black wheels? When you go to the online configurator, there are no options to select a white Highcountry with Vader Chrome and black wheels. Attached a photo for reference. 

 

Additionally, not that i am interested but i have also seen them market a green color but there are no options for the the green in the online configurator.

I have seen the green one myself, but not the white.  Both of them are badass, but GM cant get out of their own way over the past few years.  I wont hold my breath for production availability anytime soon.

There isn't a green for 2024.  There was Greenstone Metallic for 2022 and 2023.  That color is now gone.  

 

The picture you've posted is just a generated stock image off of like Cars.com.  There is no High Country in white with Vader chrome.  Its only the Midnight Edition that gets that setup with black exterior only.

 

Its a stock press picture of the High Country Midnight Edition and they just edited the color of the truck white.  You can tell by the reflections on the truck.

So GM isn't marketing a white High Country with black wheels and the Vader chrome grille.  Cars.com stock photo generator is doing that image.

That sucks if true... I'm not even one to really like white trucks but the white with Vader Chrome is by far the best looking combo on the new redesign... i would strongly consider that setup if they offered it.

I miss Rainforest Green Metallic. I wish GM, and other OEMs too, would offer dark greens again.
