Don't know where else to submit this, so:

Currently, when enabled, the option to tilt exterior mirrors downwards when in reverse enables a driver to easily see their truck's rear wheels when parking. This makes perfect sense, except when a trailer is attached. In fact, I can't think of one instance where someone would want to be able to see the rear wheels of the truck when reversing - we want to see the trailer wheels. Right now, you have to remember to go into Vehcile Settings and disable the option whenever you have a trailer attached, then remember to put it back when you disconnect the trailer.

The change I propose would certainly go along with the "Better Never Stops" slogan on OTA Updates. And, I think this can easily be implemented, with a simple insertion of an If Statement Branch into the existing code logic, something like this:

If Trailer attached

   Don't tilt mirrors

Else

   Tilt mirrors

EndIf

An interface option would not even need to be added. Simply adding, "Except when trailer is attached" to the existing text in the tilting mirrors option under Vehicle Settings would suffice.

It's so simple, maybe it can be in the next OTA update. 🙏PLEASE?

Good idea.

If (MirrorTilt and Not TrailerAttached) Or (MirrorTilt and TrailerAttached and TrailerTilt)

      Tilt the mirrors

EndIf

When you find the correct area to submit a request, reply back here or add to this to your list....

DELETE the flashing lights when you drop the tailgate, using the tailgate button!

Yes, we realize this, but we know GM folks unofficially see some info posted here, so better to make a request public on the off chance someone might see it and pass it on to someone who cares.
