So this is my 1st truck but not new to moding my vehicles.  Was into the JDM scene with my older vehicle and now grew up and needed a truck to haul my bro's Nitro boat when we head to our local lake.  Plus a truck is alot more useful now a days.  This is my 1st time ever putting in a full audio system and just have a quick question on the Pac T-harness.  Which side of the harness goes to the Line converter/LC7i?  Hope I wired it right cause if not I'm going to have to de-pin the connectors and swap them to the other side.  Don't want to cut wires again and solder them all over again.  Any help would be appreciated.

System consists of the following components...

Alpine S-S65 for all doors

Alpine S-DBBV-TRK 8" Truck Enclosure

Alpine S-A60M for Subs

Alpine S-A32F for Main channels

Alpine Bass Control Knob

Kicker 47KSC2704 for Dash

LC7i line converter

Stinger RCA's

Stinger Distribution block n fuse holder

Pac LocPRO T-Harness LPHGM71

Rockville wiring kits

Made my own Loop Harness from T-Harness to LOC and from Amp to T-Harness.  Will be using factory wiring to all main channel speakers.  Also bought speaker harnesses for the doors as well as mounting plates.  I don't think they make the dash speaker harnesses yet so I bought the metra 72-4573 and just cut a slit on the clips to make them work.  Also did some sound deadening on the back wall and all doors for now.

I am doing almost exact setup using LLJ customs diy harness, except I have 1 shallow 10” sub & 5 channel amp. You have it backwards, I made the same mistake and had to swap them all. The audio signal comes from the factory module and goes out to speakers in original wiring.

I have question too while I’m here once you got it wired right… Does your car sounds still work properly after hooking up (i.e. blinker signal, startup sounds, etc.)?
Earlier I had just the front left speaker hooked up and blinker sound worked, but now after everything hooked up I can’t figure out what happened and car sounds aren’t working. Could it be for some reason because I got power & ground for LC7i from amp instead of from harness yellow & black wire like you? Also why do you have 2 blue remote wires going into amp (eta: oh nvm the second wire is probably to turn on your sub amp)?

Also not sure how to mount sub. Thinking maybe drill through metal floor and bolt with l brackets. Not sure if that’s overkill though or if I need to hard mount to anything at all maybe just carpet.

btw, very professional install, looks great.

ETA: btw, fixed the car sound issues by installing AC-LGD 20. Only need it on front speaker signal to LC7i.

Hey,

I have a 2021 gmc Sierra with Bose and I’m starting a full sound system upgrade with door speakers ,subs, amps and Dsp. Has anyone done this yet and have some pointers?
