Morning. I've got a 2006 Silverado 4x4 that has a noise which you can hear in the cab when going 10mph or slower. It almost sounds like a ball rolling around in something. It's not the steering shaft, I've replaced it plus it makes the noise going straight and turning. I've replaced the hubs and both CV axles, still hear it. It's not in the tires or hubcap. The front drive shaft doesn't have play in it. I seems to be in cadence with the rotation of the tires. As the truck slows the noise does. It's driving me nuts trying to figure out where it's coming from.

I'm not a mechanic like Richard, but I would say find someone that can put it up on a grease rack with the wheels free to roll and put it in gear and see if it can be located that way.  The fact that the noise slows as the truck slows says something.  Maybe Richard will have a suggestion.

J works has a good idea. You have isolated all butt he rear axle. So maybe your trouble lies there.

Could be rust on the  drums or rotors, if it is rear disc the backing plates may be in need of replacement. I agree put it up on a lift and see if you can isolate the noise. Check the oil in the transfer case, could be a caliper moving on the bracket due to rotor runout, does the noise go away when you brake? Bad or frozen ujoint in the rear shaft?

No it doesn’t go away when breaking. I can shut off the engine while rolling and hear it also. I’ve checked the fluid in the front differential and transfer case. Both full.

I would remove the rear driveshaft to check for a frozen ujoint or something loose inside the tube
