Loose towing mirror pivot point

As anyone experience loose towing mirror pivot point. I'm at my third mirror on the driver side and second one on the passenger side. With the new ones, now when I cross a rail road or on rough pavement they wiggle left to right and they make a knocking sound. They changed the original ones because of a cracking sound. But the replacement ones they dance.

Went to the dealer and the service manager told me they have a ton of problems with the towing mirrors. He won't change mine again. He gave me back my old mirrors so I can take it appart and try to fix. Anybody as pictures of the towing mirror pivot point . Thank you

Are they the power fold mirrors?

 

I had them on my '21 and '18 and '16 and '11 and '10...

The powerfold 'reset' always worked on mine that had the powerfold feature.

(only needed to use it a few times)
