8 Speed Changed Fluid and Temperature Sensor - Now No 4th or 5th Gear

I have a 2016 5.3 with the 8-speed.  My transmission temperature sensor has been going in and out.  Today I changed the sensor and harness, filter, and new fluid.  The transmission shifts much better 1-3 but there is no 4th or 5th gear.  The RPM's max out then it jumps from 3rd to 6th.  Anybody have any ideas what the issue might be?  Could the new harness be bad?  Thanks!
