Hi I have a 2021 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 crew cab 5.3 v8 truck bought brand new and since day one when ever I plug in my 7 pin trailer plug from my camper to my truck the back up lights come on and the back up camera comes on and stays on while I’m driving.  Any ideas why this is happening?  Is it my trailer plug or something else?  Any help with this issue would be much appreciated.  Thank you.

Sounds like the camper plug might be wired wrong.

 

I'd still start by checking the truck.

Curt and others sell reasonably priced 'test plugs'.  Autosupply and truck accessory retailers can help you out.
