2006 Sierra Intermittent Radio - Works Perfectly or Nothing

Hello.  I'm having trouble with my stock radio (Bose edition).  The physical radio itself always functions normally.  Somedays it works, some days its starts working while driving, some days nada.  When it works, it works perfectly and I've yet to have it stop while driving.  Also, the vehicle sounds (door chimes, etc.) are impacted as well.   Very strange. 

 

Before I start disassembling everything, hopefully someone has seen this (or something similar) before and can steer my in the right direction.
