How do I know whether I need the Fog lights with task light harness or not?

I am gonna get the GM fog lights (I know - they are weak, but I just don't like the look of the blank inserts on my front) and there is an option on the kit for trucks with and without the task lights. Mine is an LT and has the bed lights, but does not have the tail gate light or side mirror lights. How do I determine which one to get? GM says  that both fit my truck. Bonus questions:

 

1) the kit, when bought through a dealer includes calibration with the new button, right? 

 

2) Isn't there a Black Friday deal coming up soon on these?

The lights on the rearview mirrors are called "task lights" so if you don't have those, get the regular kit. The price DOES NOT include dealer programming. My dealer wouldn't program mine because I didn't buy the kit through their parts department! They also wanted about another $200 to program it, even though the kit comes with the code authorizing the BCM programming. I installed the kit myself. I ended up using a diode jumper so that the fogs come on with the parking lights.
