driver side blind spot

I have recently noticed my driver side mirror blind spot indicator is not working. passenger side works fine. no codes, no indication of module failure on the dash. 

any thoughts/ideas? 

I'll add it to the list for the next dealer service

I’m having problems with mine, but it’s part of other electrical issues I’m having. My blindspot is intermittent, but it’s worse on my passenger side. Having similar issues with my back up sensors and my lane departure warning. It’s been to the dealer five times, the last time for a month, and they can’t fix it. We’re working with GM now on a possible buy back.

noticed a message on the dash the other day for just a split second, almost not enough time to catch what it said. 

it said "side detection unavailable"

never saw that before, haven't seen i since. wonder if that is connected to the mirror?

dealer can't get me in for a while and that particular glass is on backorder and has a retail price of over $200 . I'll let warrant take care of it. i ordered a cheap replacement piece of glass to test in the meantime
