I have an 06 GMC 2500HD with duramax engine. Time to change fuel filter and replace drain valve at bottom. Started up and got message water in fuel filter. So I flush the  filter 3 times and only diesel fuel came out. Still get water in fuel message. Could the new drain be bad ?  Thanks

Water in Fuel sensor is junk or the connector ends are corroded or there's a broken wire on the truck side plug.
