Noise while breaking

I have a 2002 z71 ext cab and just noticed a little clicking noise upon breaking in the front right wheel - It may not be in the wheel though. Almost sounds like a shock going out but its not. This only happens when I slowing down to a complete stop, no other time. Any input will be great.

I did listen for a clunk but its not that.

I had some noise coming from the rear which ended up being the brakes. I think it was the wear indicator. It could be a stone or such stuck perhaps.

Thanks for the reply.

My truck has 16,000 miles on it so I would hope its not the brakes. The noise only happens when I come to a complete stop it may happen just a couple times. Also when slowing down If I were to pump the brakes it will happen.

Any other ideas - if anyone has experienced it.
