I have a 2011 Silverado 6.2l with 6 speed transmission.  I have read about the numerous transmission problems online.  I would like to avoid issues if feasible.  Truck currently has 87k miles.  What upgrades should I consider to prolong the life of my transmission?  Is it worth upgrading the torque converter? If so, which one? Does this require reprogramming?

Currently running ARH Long tube headers,  air raid jr intake, and Blackbear tune. No other upgrades planned.

Thanks for any information or advice on advance!!

Yes, it's worth upgrading at this mileage to prolong the life of the transmission.

Many people will swap to a 6L90e torque converter or they will get an aftermarket solution from someone like Circle D or similar. No reprogramming is needed if you stick with a stock stall converter, raising the stall will want the transmission tune changed some to work best with it.
