2024 GMC DENALI ULTIMATE HALF TON PICK UP

Question.....I have heard that the new GMC ULTIMATE  half ton pickup is really on a GMC 3/4 ton chassis.  Is this true?  I am interested in a GMC Ultimate 1/2 ton pickup but not if it on a 3/4 ton chassis.  Can't understand the reason they would do that if it is in fact true.

No, it's not true. It is on the same chassis as every other 1/2 ton.

No.  There is the Denali Ulitmate 1500, and then separate from that is the Denali Ulitmate HD.

 

If you get an Ultimate 1500, its still a 1500.

Thanks but still confused, What is the difference between a Denali Ultimate and a Denali HD?  Is everything the same except that the HD is a 3/4 ton?  Can you still get the "No Hands Cruise control" on the Ultimate 1500 half ton?

Denali or Denali Ultimate are trim levels available on 1/2, 3/4 and 1 ton trucks.

Not exactly, you are comparing two different trim levels AND chassis.

Yes.

 

It seems you are looking for a 1/2 ton truck (1500) with the Denali Ultimate trim package.

 

You do not want an HD which is a 3/4 or 1 ton ton truck.

Now I understand and again say thank you for taking the time to explain.  I see you are located in OKC, I live in Paris, TX but OU is my favorite football team.  I go see about 3-4 games in Norman each year.  I always go to their spring game with my buddy who owns a bar in brick town and is also a fan.  Yes, I am looking to buy the GMC Ultimate 1/2 ton with the gas engine.
