“11 Silverado VCIM without bluetooth to VCIM with Bluetooth

My “11 Silverado LT does not have Bluetooth and want to add a VCIM with Bluetooth. My question is my current VCIM has only one plug and the VCIM with Bluetooth I’ve seen on EBay has 3. Does this simply mean that 2 of the plugs will have nothing plugged in once installed? I don’t see additional plugs under the dash not being used.
