FINALLY, V-Band Exhaust Crossover

Ok, i finally got sick of dropping my exhaust to change trans filter and fluid. I had a local shop in Dublin,CA (Minute Muffler) add the V-Bands to my exhaust. It always took 3-4 hours to change the fluid and filter in the truck, now it takes ~1 hour.

I never heard that term before "V bands" I see the center pipe is removable, (I am in the market for a good Y pipe (I have P0420 and P0430 and PO2099) Cats); I see that the Y pipe can be had in ONE welded piece or use a removable center pipe. Is this so the filter can be changed (tranny removed?) or is it for installation ease? Can I have a recommendation for the CATS, man, I don't want to spend $1,800 and up for that Y pipe!

that's an awesome idea, all the large diesel engines i work on use those clamps, does make life easier
