I’m posting this here as well because no one seems to answer in the mods section.

I have a 2020 gmc elevation and had a dealer install the 2” at4 lift a while back.  I had drive line vibrations and they corrected the issue with a small shim, fat side facing rear.  The height of the bed is just too high for me to climb my big butt in and out of and I like a leveled look so I’m going to remove the rear blocks, install stock x31 shocks, remove the Joyce bumper spacer, and adjust the headlights.  I’m thinking this will give me a leveled look and lower the bed to a comfortable height.

I know several others have went this route and I was wondering if there is anything else that I might need to do?  I’m wondering if I’m going to still need that small shim with  the fat side facing rear?  Any other concerns anyone can think of?  Thank you in advance!

Why did you lift it in the first place? You won't need the shim if you remove the block. Did they install longer shocks when they did the lift? You might be able to get away with keeping what's on there unless they're bottoming out.

I thought I’d like the lift, but the back end just looks silly to me and I’m a large guy and I didn’t realize I’d have so much trouble getting in and out of the thing with just the extra 2” but I do.  Lesson learned.

Thank you for the advice on the shim, saved me from doing it twice!

They did install longer shocks, my thought was if I remove the blocks those things are going to be compressed and stiff and the ride might be uncomfortable, but I’m not sure.

Were they the Rancho shocks that's standard or something else? The OEM Ranchos are pretty soft as is.

Yeah the lift package has longer shocks. They didn't give you the stock ones back?

OEM Ranchos aren't that great. Lots of people upgrade to Bilsteins and are happy with them.
