:D

in my quest for the perfect truck I'm in search of rear sway bars/stabilizer. I've seem some Yukon's with it and even some Z71's like mine but have no idea how to install or which one to purchase. Can someone help me?

Thanks, yet again.

The sway bars are really easy to install for a pickup. For the rear Hellwig kit, all you have to do is attach the 4 sets of u brackets provided. 2 u brackets go on the spare tire carrier frame tube, and 2 go to the axle. Attach the endlinks to the 2 that attach to the spare tire carrier frame tube. Attach the sway bar to the 2 u brackets on the axle. Attach the 2 enlinks to the sway bar. Tighten all of the bolts to specs. The only thing to watch out for is you might have to move (bend) the parking brake line slightly to prevent contact. The bar will face backward (u opens towards spare tire).

As for the front bar, remove the front skidplate (4x4), and remove the bolts for the endlinks and remove the bolts for the u-brakets to remove the stock bar. Install the new bar in reverse order. Make sure to torque all the bolts to spec.

As a note, the bars that go on the H2, Yukon, Tahoe, Suburban and Avalanche will not work for the pickup.

Are they Part # 7633 and 7634?

Local shop has em for $99 a set, that may be the ticket. What about upper strut tie bars? Anyone using them? I installed a Neuspeed bar on my wife's Jetta GLX and it made a ton of difference controlling the body roll.

That is a good price for the bars. Those are the part numbers that I got.

There is no such thing as an upper strut tie bar for the trucks. They don't use McPherson struts.
