Ok we all hate ricers for one reason or another, but what pisses you off the most about them? Don't get me wrong I love a good hard hitting stereo, but I don't want to hear the back end of my vehicle trying to rattle apart when I turn up the bass. If you guys want to add any of your pet peeves go ahead.

All of the above actually, but I voted for the "fart can" sound - who ever came up with that term, hit it right on the head!!!

Oh yeah, and let's not forget the aero wings - must add, let's see - oh 75 hp, right?!

My main problem with the ricer is the attitude. Although I have met a couple who were pretty cool, the majority seem to think that the stickers,fart can, and multi-deck wing make their car the hottest thing on the road, and that anything else is crap. That's annoying no matter who does it.

I would have to say the whole niche. Having said that, I think an import can be "hopped up" and be a very nice car.

It is just really irritating when these cars are made out to be "race-cars". Noise restrictions on exhaust are thrown out of the window (kinda like for Harley's). Also the fact that the driver thinks he/she is Mario Andretti is laughable.

Fart can annoys the heck out of me. They don't just think that they are cooler than my Chevys. They think that they are just cooler than anything else out there.

My real big beef w/ most ricers (diclaimer, not all, some guys actually know what they are talking about) is that they don't know real performance cars. And by that I'm talking pre 1970's ish rwd muscle cars packing nothing less than 350 cubic inches. They really don't know what they are up against when they pull up next to something. Heck, I was with some people (one of which was s ricer) and I'm going down the street and a Buick Grand National pulls up to me. The guy keeps egging me on to race him. I asked him if he even had a clue how fast the GN was compared to my mere Grand prix.

I guess my other problem is that they are almost anti-performance in a lot of ways. And this is because a lot of the guys put every bolt on styling product available on there car, and will weigh it down w/ fancy suspension systems, big stereos, etc.... and I guess I always thought that if you wanted your car to be the fastest it was best to keep it as light as possible. I mean, I tried to sit through fast and the furious, but I mean, that first big street race scene, you see the guys out there and they've got these giant systems in there car and yet the cars are performance cars.

But hey, some people get it and some don't.

can't say I hate em really because some of them are well built and not the cheapest things to build in the world..

plus as long as it aint Stock I think it's alright

I can appreciate a modded car, even if it isn't something I would do myslef.

The general attitude of these punks with their visors on upside down & backwards, one pant leg pulled up, drivers seat reclined beyond any sight past the dash look is really annoying IMO

It looks like I'm the only one to vote for the performance decals....

living here in So Cal. all you see is gay bright pink and green paint and so many decals they can't even see out of windows....

Some of these car would pretty cool if the guy wasn't color blind.

The main thing I hate about them is 95% of the time the dude (or should I say "dud" ) driving is a freaking brat!

it's not the ricers themselves that irritate me, it's their drivers.

I wrote this before on here, but it definitely qualifies for the whole "attitude" thing they have. How they thing that they can out race anybody, thinking that they're the next Michael Shumaker or something.

My father and I share a 2002 Z06. I was out just going to work one day in it. At a stop light, head of the line. What pulls up nex to me? A riced out Integra. Not even a GS-R! A four door LS. A true race car I'm sure... So what do the dumbasses do? I'm sure they saw the nice little badge on the side that says "Z06 405 HP" but apparently they thought they could take it. He starts revving his engine in some territorial form of intimidation. I just shake my head... The light turns green, and he thinks he's in a drag race. I just putter off and watch. At best, from what I saw, that car would MAYBE be in the 16's in a quarter mile. And they wanted to race something that's been widely published can get in the 12's!

That's why I hate them. They just don't know... And the stuff they do know...is wrong. And you try to prove them wrong, and they get all butt hurt and start the usual anti domestic rant "We get better gas mileage, more reliable, better quality, blah blah blah."

Jeez...I even had one of those clowns revved on me when I was on my bike! What fools!

for me it's the scarwny little drivers who think that they are so cool. they end up making complete idiots out of themselves and everyone tends to be more impressed by their stupidity than their car.

about the big wheels...it depends. if you are going around on $9.99 K-Mart hubcaps that don't even match, there is a problem. but if you have some good quality 18" - 20" billet wheels that look good, on a nice vehicle, there is no problem
