dmc874 Posted February 11, 2004 Posted February 11, 2004 OK. I have started on my next project-adding power windows. I have ordered the bolton aftermarket regulators and motors. I have found new door panels and switches. The only thing I am missing is some pigtails for the switches so I can wire them up to the aftermarket stuff. Anyone know where I could locate this? Thanks.
97whitez71 Posted February 12, 2004 Posted February 12, 2004 If they are the same as stock switches you might be able to check with junk yard.
dmc874 Posted February 12, 2004 Author Posted February 12, 2004 Yes, I am buying factory panels and switches. Most junk yards either want to sell the whole door or the entire harness that also runs through the dash. I don't need all of that nor do I want to pay for all of it. Thanks.
2001 HD Posted February 12, 2004 Posted February 12, 2004 ACDelco.com has many of the connectors. Then go to a local AC Delco dealer or to http://www.oewarehouse.com/Merchant2/merchant.mv and purchase.
lrymal Posted February 12, 2004 Posted February 12, 2004 I have the part numbers at home and can get those to y'all, but it would be after I get off work. If anyone else has the GM tech manual, they could supply them as well, perhaps in a more timely fashion. The Tech Manual has a section in each chapter showcasing all the plugs and connectors, complete with illustrations. Seems the price was about $15.00 but that is from memory and might be completely off.
NothinButBowTies Posted February 12, 2004 Posted February 12, 2004 I have the entire wiring harness for both doors. PM me if interested. Thanks, Nick
