One piece or two piece transmission temp sensor? How do I know which one I need?

I have a 2016 5.3L 8 speed transmission. Want to replace the sensor and can't determine if I need the one piece (24046895) or two piece (24297371 & 24298757). Gmpartsgiant.com says that both will fit my truck when I enter my VIN. Is there any way to tell for certain?

As I recall, the 2 piece part number was  superceeded by the 1 piece part number. its probably been about a year since i did mine on my 8 speed.

I have a 2016 Sierra 5.3 w/ the 8 speed and did mine this spring. Mine was the one piece. GM part number 24046895.
