Delete auto high beams

Hi everyone, I’ve seen posts close to what I’m looking for but not entirely. Has anyone found a way to permanently disable the auto high beams, I understand you can flick the high/low and they’ll shut off but they’re just causing my truck to have more issues. The auto has been coming on with fog lights enabled and sometimes they take a while to come down from high beam and just today my fog light and high beam lights in the gauge cluster seemed to have a fight for a few seconds. Any ideas would be great, thanks!

Are you the original owner? Are the lights OE or aftermarket? If you're not the original owner, The PO may have made a mode to it. Some people like to have the fog lights on when Highs are on and will jump a couple wires. Check this video to see what they do to see if it's been done to yours. This is just a guess.

I’m second owner, stock headlights, I’d like to have the fogs on with high however they don’t and I don’t see an attempt to make it that way.

I did my 2018 Silverado 1500 and several others so the fogs stayed on with high beams. 

If the OP is still trying to find any mods look at the the block under the dash just left of the brake pedal. If you see any jumpers there its probably been modded.

Yes I’m aware that they make jumper harnesses that’s not my issue, I’m not trying to mod it right now I wouldn’t buy one anyways. I was just wondering if anyone knew how to delete the auto high/low function.

5 seconds on my memory and Boost auto parts sells the jumper for $20 bucks leaves a Hundred in my pocket... And No buttons to push or fondle.

Yeah I know it is VERY easy to put in and works excellent!
