OTA update preferences

Do the OTA updates happen automatically without a prompt to start on the infotainment center?  ....or do all of them require a "start" prompt.  I'm hoping its the latter.  2023 Silverado RST trim

The have a prompt -- because the truck may be out-of-service til it completes. 

(out-of-service would likely be a piss-off if the stop was supposed to only be for a couple minutes)

 

There is a GM truck employee on another site that says if you refuse the OTA's enough times the programming will quit asking.

Updates should also be available at the dealer.
