2022 chevy silverado custom key stuck in ignition

I’ve got a 2022 Chevy Silverado custom the ignition key gets stuck in the ignition more so when it’s extremely cold outside, I have already taken it to the dealership three times with no issues that can be reproduced. However, I have videos of same was recommended to take it to a locksmith in which I did And he said the ignition switch and cylinder are in great condition. I’ve already troubleshoot it making sure it’s in park turning the wheel, etc. etc. has this happened to anybody before and what was the fix?

yes I have seen others mention this issue before on this site. You’re not alone in this.

Got the same problem with mine, sprayed it with Food grade silicone like the now forgotten Jettech suggested. Much improved but not perfect. Gotta jiggle it just right to get it out.

 

When I bring my truck back into the stealership in the next few weeks I will be asking them. Will report back what I hear..
