I went the same route. I installed a rocker switch with red led from radio shack next to the seat heater on door panel. take the power from the seat heater run wire to mirror loom (it is already run to passenger side). works better than stock, stays on as long as you chose; shuts off with key. the mirrors are great btw. i added 3" convexes.

SX they are about $350at Stylin

I also dont have the heated seats but wont mind running power up to my door if i have too. i saw that the wire loom goign to the mirror does indeed have 4 or 5 wires connected and that would suggest that the mirror wires i ready for heating but needs to connect to a defrost button.

Devlin, mine came with blind spot irros but they are the rectangular kind and i dont like them. Were did you get yur convex ones?

i have a set of OEM 2003 heated power mirrors with the turn signal built in, camper style. The kind that power extend, and they are perfect. I am selling them for around the same price as the ones at stylin. PM me if your interested in those.

the round mirrors are at any pep boys etc. you could take power from the window power if you lack the seat heater option. be sure to use the "RAP" power source so it will shut off automaticly. the RAP circut has the windows and other accessories that shut off if the door is opened or 20 minutes passes after the ignition is shut off. no dead batteries.

Linda, thank you for the offer but i dont think that those are going to work on my 2002 since i just dont have the wiring for it i think. id have to rewire the whole door i think.
