Hello everyone,

I recently purchased this truck, which currently has 192,000 miles on it. I've noticed that between approximately 30 to 45 mph, the vehicle begins to jerk or hesitate—it almost feels like it's skipping. This issue only occurs within that speed range, so I usually accelerate to get past it.

Has anyone experienced something similar or know what might be causing this? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

For reference, the VIN is 1GCUYHEL5KZ212192.

Thank you in advance!

Welcome to the forum. Yes, I have experienced this with my last 2 Silverado's. I call this condition "shuddering". I traded both those trucks so neither one was fixed. 192,000 is a lot of miles. What engine and transmission do you have?

185k on original 6.2L engine and 10 speed. 6" lift with 35" tires. Changed oil (Mobil 1 synthetic) when truck told me to. Original tranny with original fluid and no service or flush done. All highway miles. A/C compressor replaced at 155k. Oil cooler line replaced at 180k. Still daily driver. Love this truck.

This is my 3rd 6.2L vehicle (2008 Yukon Denali / 2018 Cadillac Escalade) with over 150k miles and no issues. Denali had broken motor mount at 100k.
