Towing Electrical Connection

Who else has noticed that they changed to the 4-Pin connector to TWO single connectors?  WTH?!!!  I've never seen that one until I got my 24 Silverado EV.

If it looks like this, you'll be happy when you try to plug in your remote cameras. 

 

 

 

In the mean time you'll an adapter from the 7 round to whatever your trailer has. will be required.

Yeah, I have the 7-Pin to 4&5 Pin adapter.  That kind of shoots down my plan to replace it with a 7+4.  Hopefully, I'll be able to add my Tailgate Lightbar behind this connector.

owners manual includes info on the purpose of those ports, and has lots of other info about all the doohickeys on your truck and how they work.  free pdf download from gm's website.

UNFORTUNATELY, that is NOWHERE in the Silverado EV OM, I've read it 15 times, thus this post.

Do you have the full manual?

The gassers come with an 'essentials' manual, and the full manual is only by download.

 

Not sure if it's the same way with the EV

Yes, I have downloaded the full manual at work, on my phone, my tablet and on my computer.
