AlSeli Posted June 14, 2025 Posted June 14, 2025 I have a 2025 Sierra 5.3l and I'm wondering if it's normal for it to shake/vibrate at idle? It's been to the dealer 4 times and they acknowledge there is a vibration. They submitted a TAC case with GM and conducted a bunch of tests only to come back and say there is no issue with the truck. The vibration is mostly noticeable while in drive and stopped. I feel it in the floorboard, seat, and see the steering wheel shake along with drinks in the cupholder. When I put it in neutral, reverse, or park it seems to smooth out. Any insight is appreciated
Sneaky pete Posted June 14, 2025 Posted June 14, 2025 Motor mounts. Some of the earlier trucks had issues. Worth a look see.
Ben1029 Posted January 31 Posted January 31 I have a 2020 sierra 1500 SLT and mine has same issue. This is going to sound stupid but this fixed my issue. Been into dealer 3 times and the last time it was there they replaced the PCV line hose and ever since then it has not happened. They found a cracked fitting on PCV hose and would only shake or stumble at idle. I would recommend changing PCV line
