my 2012 Silverado wasn’t registering oil pressure so I bought a new sensor and socket and removed it without pulling the intake. But my problem now is I cannot get the screen out and I have tried. I tried for three hours today and cannot get it out truthfully I can’t even really feel it in there, but It’s in there because the new one won’t go in. Any you gentlemen have some ideas . Appreciate it - Chris

Hello, I saw a vehicle about this that instead of the usual 100 videos of a pic being used, he used a bolt...I believe it was a 5/16" bolt? I can't remember for sure, but it looked like it worked great! Just a small twist and pulled it up. I have not done this myself, I am only informing you of what I saw :-).

did you post on the right thread?  The oil pressure sensor is metric, and WAY larger than a 5/16" bolt, and the screen is just inserted in the hole the sensor is installed in.

I likely remember the size wrong! It was a large bolt, fit just enough the threads went snuggly right into the center of the screen.
