Hello friends, I've been chasing a misfire in my '17 Silverado 1500 5.3L for a while and noticed something confusing in my scan tool. (Innova 5160rs)

I have 2 MAF readouts on the ECM live data, very far apart. Only 1 in the OBD2 live data.

The first readout (#14/482) reads 0.53 lb/min at idle, which is within normal range.

The second readout (#308/482) reads over 200 lb/min at idle, which is NOT within normal range at all.

I know this truck only has 1 MAF. Why might I have 2 readings here? And why would the second one be so dang high?

Only one of those data channels is used by the computer. Just because a PID/channels is available on that computer, that doesn't mean it will use it.

You see it all the time when using tuning software too, there can be 4 channels that can all read the same specific thing but only one is used by the computer and the other channels is just weird skewed data.
