Good evening-just joined here, but do belong to several other forums-so I understand how they work..

Thinking about-talking to some knowledgeable  folks about  adding the plug  in delete option-so it would be  8 cylinders all the time.

And yes--I do keep the oil changed regularly with Amsoil. Trying to avoid the dreaded lifter problems,   as i don't drive the truck as much since I'm retired now.

Thanks for any thoughts-

Either have someone tune it with HP Tuners or just buy the Range plug in dongle thing for the AFM. Either option will work for you.

I charge people like $150 to do it with HP Tuners if they are local, costs me $100 just to unlock the computer anyway.

Are you saying the Range  Brand plug in dongle would be the best bet?

Looks like also the most expensive-but with anything you basically get what you pay  for. Tks for the response

there are cheaper dohickeys for disabling afm/dfm.  Some people have had a variety of problems using other devices.
