What type of rear end on 93

I had this truck for a long time and put hard 235,000 miles on it. I have been able to identify all of the major components except rear end. The Helms manual said that there should be a metal tag on it. It must have fell off. Anybody got an idea on how to identify it? Truck has a 5.7L engine, 5 speed manual transmission.

With the 350 it will most likely have the 9.5", "c-clip" style, semi floating, 14 bolt rear axle.

Do not confuse this with the full floating 10.5", 14 bolt. The full floater would have came with the 454, or 6.5 turbo diesel.

Awaiting your reply.

BTW, is also a 350 (5.7L).

Thanks

I use synthetic lubes everywhere I can and keep the oil changed on a regular basis. I have also been using the prolong additive about once a year for the last couple of years.

I have a 1992 Chevrolet Scottsdale K2500HD 4X4 with the 350 and I have 189,000 miles on the truck. She is still going strong and has been used like a truck.
