Well I got suckered into a blind date for this weekend, my buddy who knows the girl from work says that she likes a guy that smells good.  So I figured by asking a forum that is mostly guys what kind/brand of cologne is good or what your favorite is would be a good idea.  Thanks in advance for input.

I've always found that the smell of MONEY attracts women.  Get about $5k out of the bank (in $100's), and carry it on the date.  Don't flash it around, and act almost embarassed if she notices the size of your wad (of cash).  The smell alone will work.

Great replies! LOL

The only advice I can offer is go light on it - too much just makes people think a person is trying to cover up something!

My 2 cents.

Good luck, BTW!    :P

Well I am not sure what to tell you in the way of cologne to use.  May I suggest going to Sears or other dept. store and talk to the ladies in the cologne dept then snag a free sample.  That way you can save your cologne money for your truck.

I wish you luck and I hope it works out for you.  I like to encourage all my single friends with nice trucks to get married.   Because when they do you know it is only a matter of time before that truck is up for sale and a beautiful mini van is in the driveway.

Oh by the way…. May I recommend the Pontiac Venture van and can u post some updated photos of your truck …

My wife likes Coolwater so that is what I wear.  Something about turning her on or something.  ;)

But I do agree with putting it on lightly.

There's a cologne that two guys I know wear.  I can always tell when they have it on and it smells really good.  I think it's called Sebastian - Macy's has it.  Just one girls opinion though.

Coolwater is a definete winner.  My G/F loves it.

I also got this stuff called "Angel for Men" that I've gotten LOTS of compliments from the ladies on both at work and when walking downtown.  It's a smooth, sweet, smell with a hint if cigar (not overpowering smoke, just that sweet pre-smoked smell).  It's supposed to put them at ease and it seems to work.

An oldie but a goodie is Farenheit.  I have two of the women at work that won't leave me alone when I wear that.

Polo Sport is also a good generic usage cologne.  Essentially what you are looking for in a cologne is something that stays in the background but offers enough for a quick soft whiff whenever you need to smell it.  Kinda like clothes fresh out of the drier type of smell.  Not overpowering, but there.

I have so many for so many different occasions, it's kinda hard to give you an accurate response.

First, MXR I had no idea...  ???

Second these guy's are right. Ypu don't want to use to much especially since you said she is blind. The blind can have a keener sense of smell.  :D

Perry Ellis, Nautica, Polo Sport

Okay, I just can't stand it...from a female's perspective, just be sure you are CLEAN. There's nothing worse on this earth than some guy bathing in cologne (no matter what brand) to cover up his funky B.O.!!!

Personally, I absolutely melt over Brooks Brothers or Bay Rum...heck, I might even let the guy drive MY truck if he's wearin' one of those!  :;):
