2500HD questions

I have a orange T-Handle looking thing in my glove box, what is it for?

 

How do you remove the chrome hub cap thing on the chrome 6 lug wheels? I have tried, but I feel like I am going to break it.

Loosen the plastic nuts on the plastic "center cap" and the cap will come off... Those plastic nuts are threaded into the tops of your real lugnuts.

 

When you put the center cap back on tighten the plastic lugs gently...

 

I don't know what the T-handle is for.

For some reason I remember something about it being used when the truck first arrives at the dealership they use it to install the antenna or something silly like that. I don't know, I don't remember.

It's for installing and removing the radio antenna...if you go through a car wash that has brushes hanging that are as stiff as angle iron, you might take it off so as to avoid it getting broken. Or, after you've beaten the pants off some dude with a "big bad" Hemi, you can use it to take the antenna off and beat some sense into 'em

Are all new trucks supposed to have that T wrench thing for the antenna? I don't remember seeing one in my 03 Sierra 2500HD
