Hello,

My daily driver is a 1994 S-10 Reg.Cab Short Bed 4Cyl./5-Speed. Within the next few month I'd like to gather some Info about installing a LT-1 or LT-4 with a 6 Speed in my Truck. Does anybody have information about such a swap?? I.e. Exhaust manifolds, motor -mounts, what serpentine belt system to use, who can

rework the engine harness/computer programming??

Thanks for helping.

The best thing that you can do to get the comlete listing of info for the swap is order a V8 swap manual for the S10's.

I believe you can get them from Jegs or Summit Racing and it will contain all you need to know.

Welcome aboard!

Thanks for your Info.

I just read an article in Sport Truck Magazine about a

"Chevy Race Shop" built Blazer with an LT-1 and 6Speed. The Truck was outfitted with 1995 17 Inch Corvette ZR-1 Wheels. Modifications included a '98 Blazer 4WD Rear axle with disc brakes. This allowed to mount the 11" wide rims due to a 4.5" wider track width. Up front they installed Belltech dropped spindles, Hotchkis upper A-Arms, 12" 1LE Rotors with Impala SS calipers.

WOW, MY KINDA TRUCK!

Would anybody know how to get more info from Chevy about their Custom Trucks???Thanks and happy Trucking.

Not more info but 1LE rotors huh?

Those should be fairly tough to come by seeing as how a lot of F body enthusiasts don't even know what a 1LE is.

I've been torn between a supercharger and an LT1 swap for a while now.

I already have four wheel disc breaks and an LT1 should be a fairly easy swap for my truck since it should bolt up directly to my tranny but it still makes work in some areas.
