TB Marker Lights

It took some work, but I found the marker lights seen on the Northern Face TB. Has anyone here attempted installing these on a non-NFTB? It seems I'll have to cut an inch or so off of the roof rack rails to get them to fit. For the moment I am intending on running the wires to the license plate lights. Is there an easier or better spot?

The fun part of this install will be the 1" hole I'll have to drill through the roof for the wiring harness.

It was kinda scary using the holesaw on the roof but end job looks pretty sweet.

Nice mod. Where did you tap into the wiring?

I think I missed the joke.

Anyways, I hooked them into the parking lights in the rear. I was initially going to use the license plate lights but figured it would be easier to just run down the sides. They only turn on at night and with the hazards during the day.

Now I just need someone to come out with aftermarket lenses of a different color.

Ah! I hadn't done the slideshow before. I guess you got to see some pics where I was testing some of my party equipment. That would have been a picture of a friend and his drunk wife. I see how that picture could raise some eyebrows

EME, That looks sweet! Where did you find the TNF marker lights? How much were they and how are was it to install? Thanks.

I got em from GMPartsDirect.com. They set me back about $160 which is half what the dealer was gonna charge. To install them you gotta drill some decent size holes in your roof under the rack mounts. I then ran wire back to the tail lights. They look pretty sweet at night.
